I've always loved vintage office supplies, a passion that culminated in a bidding war on eBay and finally the prize, a heavy-duty antique tape dispenser. I still haven't been able to find the right size tape to fit, but I love it nonetheless. I realized that this was not a simple case of nostalgia. What I fell in love with was the craftsmanship.

You can imagine my pleasure when I found a modern version of that vintage dispenser. The Heavy-Weight tape dispenser from Black + Blum lives up to its name. Made from aluminum with a cast iron core it weighs over 2 lbs, heavy enough to use with one hand. The stainless steel blade cuts effortlessly.
